Messages are as simple as they sound - they contain information sent from one user to another user or group of users. TransAM allows you to create and send messages and to view messages sent to you. Generally speaking, you can send a message to any other user in your organization. Depending on your role, you may be able to send a single message to all users in your organization or send a message to users in a parent or grantee organization.
Most users can see messages in a Message pane on your Dashboard, and you can always access messages by clicking on the User Menu, in the Banner, and choosing My Messages. Messages are created and viewed entirely within TransAM; however, each user can choose to receive messages and other information from TransAM directly to their email account by changing their User Settings.
